June market dates 🗓️ Can’t believe the year is going this fast but we’re into June, which is my birthday month 🥳 Not quite so many events this month to allow for some time with family who are coming to visit for mine and Father Moody’s birthday celebrations but there’s still plenty opportunities to find us! This weekend we’re at @towerworks.leeds for their street fest, I’ll have a major range of bakes and choccies for you to finish the enjoyment of all the hot food and drinks with. Then we’ll have our first weekend in a long time without an event for MoodyMare though we’re still out with @gillisgin and I’m sneaking off to my schools 10 year reunion (yes saying that does make me feel very old 😅) You can find us back at Acomb with @littlebirdmade which I’m so excited to actually attend myself rather than sending Mother Moody this time, it’s the best event and I’ve missed going for sure. Then we’ll finish up the month @harrogatefoodanddrinkfestival on the Stray 😀 Of course you can find us weekly in Pock on Tuesdays so if you’re missing a sweet treat we can always guarantee you one there. May Recap 🩵 A month full with 20 trading days across 13 different events all over the north of England and still managed to grab a few moments with friends as well Watching my best friend Sally run her first half marathon in Leeds, and spending an evening with Ellen, my better half, on the Moors taking in the sights and enjoying a good reset. Little moments with loved ones mean so much when you’re a small business owner with very limited free time! May has been an exceptionally tough month with customer spending being way down and all small businesses, market traders and independent sellers really feeling the struggle. But that makes every person who chooses to spend with us, support us, share our socials or post about our products all the more important and valued by us. Newcastle Food Festival 🖤🤍 As well as our Knaresborough & Harrogate markets this weekend run by Mother and Father Moody you can find me in Leazes Park in Newcastle all weekend long 14 different variations of traybakes with a range of our handmade chocolate bars and bags to compliment 😍 The artisan markets usually close around 6 but I’ll be staying open longer for anyone who’s enjoying themselves too much watching the live bands! Back to Knaresborough & Harrogate 🩵 We’ve got a big weekend ahead with a food festival in Newcastle but we will also still be a constant at the amazing @littlebirdmade markets in Knaresborough and Harrogate It feels so incredible to say we now have regulars at both venues who come by to top up on their sweet treats once a month and you bet we’ll keep supplying them month on month! We’ll have a a huge range with us this weekend so there is something for everyone to enjoy. I bought 3 of the Flat Eggs. One for me one for my partner and one for my daughter. Unfortunately after eating mine my daughter never got hers as I ate that one as well. The worst part is I regret nothing (she had plenty of other and never knew this one existed). Ordered late on a Monday and was delivered on Tuesday the next day. Top quality and barely more than a standard mass produced normal Easter Egg. The only problem is I will now have start browsing their everyday item! Although it will be good trying them out.
